Hope you can stay on for at least another hour-and-a-half or so. Even though still bright sunny day here in the state of West Virginia in the eastern U.S. (2145 UTC=1745 local time), the 48-m.b. is starting to come in already. Mystery (presumed) on 6220 already coming in; SWBC Radio Nacional de Guinea Ecuatorial in Equatorial Guinea is already putting in a very nice signal (one of the best ever here) with only 10-kilowatts on 6250, and I can hear music coming through on 6400 kHz. So if you can stay on past 2300 UTC maybe a good chance of making it to North America this evening. If not tonight, I hope that maybe some Friday or Saturday you can stay on past 2300, or even better 2400, as local sunset is a bit past 2400. Short Wave Combination Holland was coming in very nicely on Friday as early as 2200 with I think 300-400 watts until just after 2300, so I think you can make it over here some time if not today if you can stay on late. Calypso has made it over here that time with only about 45-watts or so, so I look forward to hearing Altrex either in a little while today or another weekend. I lift a "brown bottle" to you, and Cheers!
(Update) 2215 nice solid carrier 6254.8, and a little music poking through the static, but not strong enough to ID yet. Mystery now practically booming in on 6220, and the other "Mystery" on 6400 solid S-5 on the FRG-100's S-meter, so another hour and should be able to get nice signal from Altrex here if you could please stay on.

Conditions from Europe seem excellent already on 48-meters even though almost 2 hours from local sunset.!

Still trying, but still a little bit early as it is still very sunny here. Can hear a little bit of music but not quite strong enough to recognize any songs yet. Not quite late enough to visit my bed here yet!

I know you probably have to get up in the morning, so maybe next Friday or Saturday you can stay on a little bit later for your friends here "across the water." Let us know if you can stay on; 6255 seems to be good choice of frequency. Cheers!

Aaah, I thought so. For some reason the whole band seemed to drop off around 2320, and I lost your carrier around 2340.

I could hear some music and your voice, but just not quite strong enough to identify anything clearly.

I think there was an exceptional opening from Europe to here on 48-meters, as the "mystery" station on 6400 also dropped off very much about the same time, as I was going back and forth between Altrex and this station to check reception conditions. I really wanted to be able to send a nice reception report, so I hope you can try again next weekend. Cheers, 73's, and Best Regards!
