6309 heard in Tennessee, USA

Ran across signal of what sounded like a Europirate on or around 6309 kHz at 0056 GMT on Dec. 29, 04. They were playing pop music, then I heard briefly the word "variety" and something else and it abruptly went off the air at 0100 GMT. Anybody out there know who this was?
