On Christmas Eve, conditions looked promising early, as I had LHH on 6210 and 6219 at 2014 UTC; almost an hour before sunset here. Mystery Radio on 6219.9 kHz was booming in. I also had a carrier on 6310.2 around 2017 UTC, but don't know who that could have been. Later, I had some audio on 6240.7 at 2056, but it wasn't JRRI. According to Joe Vincent, it could have been BRI testing there.

Decided to wake up at 0730 UTC on Christmas day. As soon as I tuned to 6210, and barely had a carrier there, I knew it was going to be hopeless. I checked the propagation website http://dx.qsl.net/propagation/propagation.html, and sure enough, the K index was 5. A rather disappointing result for one of the most acitve free radio weekends of the year.
