Sunday logs from Southern Poland

Post by Foton »

Last weekend big misery happened to me bacause my receiver become completely deaf. In spite of lack of enough experience I was able to find broken parts and somehow bring receiver to life. So today I decided go to my remote SWL post to check the receiver.
Conditions were very variable, sometimes strange, but in general good for my location. I noticed many strong stations. The strongest stations were Radio Borderhunter (6205) and Radio Marconi (6417). But number of stations could be received here in good quality, too.
So three hours I spent at listening made me happy because I heard so many stations, meet a lot of friends at Iann’s Chat and my receiver have become useful. Below my logs:

1305 6425.6 32333 UNID interferenced by unknown carrier

1225 6320 22222 UNID (tent. RWI)

1150 6325 33333+ Radio Mustang

1140 6211 33323 Radio Scirocco AM

1135 6417 55545 Radio Marconi Very strong with good audio

1130 6870 33333 Radio Playback Int. later signal improved to O=4

1120 6292 34434 Radio Quintus

1100 6290 32333 Radio Trans Europe

1040 6220 44444 Radio Marabu via Mystery Radio

1030 6240 34434- Misti Radio

1015 6310 33333 Radio NorthPole

1000 6316 12212- UNID (tent. RWI)

0955 6260 44434 Radio Likedeeler strong but often overmodulated

0940 6240 34434 UNID testing - many times on and off, various audio levels

0935 6265 34434 Radio Geronimo

0935 6205 45545 Radio Borderhunter

0930 12257 14312 W.R.I. Not good today

0925 6280 23323 Radio Merlin Int.

0915 5815 34434 Orion Radio typical signal strength

0915 7610 34444 Radio Amica

0910 6373.2 32333 Radio Flux AM Only 2Watts of power

0910 6376 22222 Tent. Sonic Radio QRMs from 6373.2

0901 6210 33323 Misti Radio heard last seconds of trnasmission

I’ve updated my webpage, so audio recordings are available at there (http://www.fotonex.tk/)

I should mention about WNKR on 6395.5 which was audible but barely due to strong digital signal [sorry I do not remember exact time] and about traces of music on 6915. When US station finished at this frequency, weak carrier was observed by me (@12) and even traces of music. It could be Cactus Jack Radio.
On Saturday I went to city park with Degen and wire and heard KingSW on 6216 and Radio Altrex on 6310 which gived ID just after local noon.

Thanks to all operators for interesting shows.

At the end info for DXers. The brand new free station born in Northern Poland. It uses 7800kHz and I heard it last Sunday (22-Nov) and someone heard it this Saturday (28-Nov). So far it broadcasts at weekends 9-12LT and maybe also at evening. No station’s name was given so I call it “Radio 7800â€
