Hi,
A few words about the PLC local noise here. Power Line Communications (en français Courants Porteurs en Ligne, CPL), is a home network system using HF signals over power lines. Usually, the radio-amateur bands (US limits!) are spared, with almost 100 kHz guard bands, so those pesky noises vanish quickly when crossing from under to over 6900kHz for example. The common ones heard here are using packets, hem!, pulsed noise sounding like old movie projectors, very fast "tac-tac-tac-tac-tac", so both weak and strong signals are affected (more or less). A newer one (not often heard) is using a continuous smooth blanket of noise, quite different, not heard under strong signals, but completely masking the weaker ones (at least until I find the ATU settings that cancel the noise without cancelling the hidden signal...). Fight the PLC ! Mort aux CPL !
That week, still a few loggings from Cosmic R. and Horizon FM. On Saturday morning, Cosmic R. and (relayed) R. Caroline North were 'stereo' for about 3 hours!
- R. Coax was again on the air on Sat. morning and Sun. night, with very low power, doing well to be IDed.
- Look for 6235 on Sunday at 2206, maybe Horizon FM?
- Other puzzling loggings: Promostaff(???) on Monday, UNID on 7295 (Sunday), and others on Sunday night.

Please note that c'/d is a period from a few seconds to well more than an hour before the real switch off !
"Strength" notes (from e.weak to V.strong) are rather S/N notes by ear, not S-meter levels.
