Nice steady signal for Radio Underground overhere.
S9 to S9+20 dB very slow fading, excellent audio.
One of very, very few stations I take the time to listen to.

Nobody who feels the need to reply on this subject ?
Or maybe this (none pirate) signal is not received beyond the Dutch borders...

Signal on 1674
Any foreign listeners who do receive the signal on 1674 ? Or even better, anybody who knows where it's coming from ? Some preliminary investigation showed that the strongest signal is received near the coast in the south-west of the Netherlands. Maybe it's off-shore or maybe it's located in England...

1656Khz – 2151-2156 – Radio Boomerang? – 34433 – S8 – Dutch Music. No, I am afraid not. :D (No antenna available any more) Nevertheless, it's always interesting to read the MW logging. You have at least one reader... Concerning the ID mentioning, I think you got a point. Most MW station d...

Unable to receive them overhere.Andy Richards wrote:They are on MW on 729,765 & 1530Khz,I suspect 765Khz will be the best into Europe.
At least during the evening/night hours due to strong nearby stations.

Re: London Calling.
Hmm, very interesting. Were these signals received the same day ? I noticed the Barones signal being received when it was not yet dark ? whereas the Bandung signal was received in the middle of the night. Maybe we need two antennas, a (top loaded) vertical during the day/evening and a horizontal dur...

Do any Dutch MW Ops use inverted L's? I did. However, I also tried a 'sloper', an inverted-V/dipole (2*45 m), a 2*20 and even 2*45 meter T-antenna. The T-antennas did produce a very strong local signal (within some 100 Km). The inverted-V did not, but the signal beyond 150 Km was much stronger than...

From your post, you suggest that Bandung has a stronger signal in NL than Baro.(Or at least at your QTH) No that's not quite the case. Baro is relatively close to my QTH whereas Bandung is some 150 Km's away. However, related to the average and more distant Dutch station, Bandung mostly does have a ...

Re: London Calling.
Hello Andy,
thanks for the MW loggings.
Interesting to see Baro being much stronger than Bandung. I always thought Bandung being one of the strongest stations on MW.
Maybe however he was using lower power that time, also because of the Delmare signal being more powerfull.

Re: 1645 many,
It's a pitty that on this list we don't see more MW loggings. Especially from the UK (thanks Dave !) . For the the eastward direction we have the Dr. Tim loggings, but it would be nice to read some more loggings from other directions also.

Hello Achim,
thanks a lot for the comprehensive logging. It's also nice to see some MW stations listed.
I especially like this type of logging because there are a large amount of different stations on different frequencies logged in a single list by one and the same user.

WMR use 3910 on Saturday night and Sunday morning. GET USED TO IT. [...] but WMR broadcast regular programs on the same frequencies EVERY weekend. If WMR were to decide to put on a flame thrower on 3910 with audio that interfered with everthing 10 kHz each side of it would you be happy because that...
