1610KHz

Post by darklife »

This is our new frequency. I am using my home made TX as shown in a few other posts. I replaced the coil to get it upto the higher end of the AM band. The power output is around 25 watts so I doubt people will be able to tune in but give it a try if you are in the west side of America.
I will run broadcasts all night long and sometimes during the day. So if you hear anyone on the air on 1610 with a id of "darklife" or the "darklife radio show" you know it's me ;).

Hello Darklife,

On 1610 Khz is a very bad frequency for us in Europe, there is over 1611 Khz Radio Vatican in an evening with a very strong signal.
But I encourage your action to emit in Small Waves since the USA.

Heh thanks. Where I live 1610 is very clean and open. It seems to be the best channel to use in Wisconsin USA area.

It seems most people on alfa lima aren't in the states. Hmm.. am I the only one here in the US?

hello Darklive :veryhi

You are not the only one in the US.
But what we hear here in Europa from the US is mainly Shortwave around 6900khz.
Do you know this website: http://www.frn.net/new/index.php and this section http://www.frn.net/vines/
There you may find some answers, it is based on US pirates.

I used to be on FRN but the forum moderator doesn't like me for some unknown reason and decided to ban me from the forums (I think he mistaken me for someone else). I have asked many times to be let back on but he never replies to my emails.
So the only other forum I have found for pirate radio is this one.

Hello Darklife,

Effectively I have never seen your name on FRN, maintaining I know why. You can say to me if there are the other Free stations to by you who Broadcast in the band of 185 metres in the USA, it is true that nobody speaks about it on FRN.
