Serbian MW-pirate station RADIO VIHOR will be on the air with special international broadcast to Europe on Sunday evening 18.th May from 22.00 to 23.00 CET (20.00-21.00 UTC).

The frequency will be 1650, 1660 or 1670 kHz (free channel will be chosen)! Power 1 kW.

Two Finnish DX-listeners, Harri Kujala and Jim Solatie will visit Radio Vihor
(located in Pancevo, 25 km Northeast from Belgrade) and this team will play Finnish and Serbian music for one hour. GSM-number will be announced in the programme and European listeners can phone to the programme.

All reports of this special broadcast can be sent to Radio Vihor, P.O.Box 1104, 8001BC Zwolle, Holland (This P.O.Box belongs to Radio Bluebird who has been in QSO with Serbians before). Please enclose one IRC for Special-QSL. There will be no e-mail-box!

Please try to hear us- AND TRY QSO after broadcast!!

Hello Harri and Jim!

Not much Vihor up here (I think). To low A-index... Serbia wants bad radioweather to get through up here with short antennas... :(
I checked the frequencies 20-21 UTC:

1650 a station playing greek music. Strong echo on the talking.
1655 Klas Snoek QSO with Oldtimer, Transparant etc.
1660 Viking Radio met Tante Foek talking and playing dutch music.
1665 Radio Transparant playing oldies.
1670 unid with dancemusic. One moment I thought I had a finnish song here with a lady singing (2018), but then the dancemusic started... It probably was something else...
1680 strong QSO-stations. Perhaps from Serbia. Only voice-reports.

radio: NRD 525G
antenna: shortwire, 20 metres directed to a bush.

A beaverage directed south would have been nice... I guess there are about 5 of those in Finland, all belonging to DXers specialiced on mediumwave Africa. I wonder if some of them were alert here...?

A nice try this  , I hope you'll make a tradition of it :D

  Shortwave next time Harri and Jim!! Shortwave!
