After midnight a lot of activity on MW. Barones on 1650 and 3 Greek stations in QSO around 1688 - 1692 khz.

1650: R Barones at 0029 UTC thanking for a sms from someone in Germany, SINPO 35333

1688: UNID at 0037 UTC, QSO, SINPO 35333

1690: UNID at 0036 UTC, QSO, SINPO 55545 very strong signal

1691,5: UNID at 0039 UTC, QSO, SINPO 35333

Hello PJK and friends.

Did some listening late on Sunday evening, and was expecting some nice signals from the Netherlands but insted the band was just crowded with Greeks.

1700 and also possible ID here, still have to listen to this one.

where some of the freq where strong Greeks where heard.

From the Netherlands:

1620 Farmers where on with a great signal, announcing SMS and hotmail

1635 Euromast heard with ID and report

1637 Radio Monte Carlo with ID

1655 Technische Man with the strongest signal this eve. Just massive signal.

The Technical Man was the best signal in London too on Sunday Night;


1656Khz - 2218-2300 - 45445 - S9 + 30 - Ozzy Osbourne - "No More Tears",Saxon - "Never Surrender",Van Halen - "Jump".Followed by some Dance music & then some Dutch tunes.

Yes strange conditions, that Greek station on 1690 was very strong, one of the strongest i have heard on mw.
