Tuesday 5th December

1630kHz, 2236-2305UTC, UNID Dutch station playing a really remarkable selection of old-time music, including "Ferryboat Serenade" at 2245, some ragtime piano at 2247 and "Uptown Girl" (not the Billy Joel song) at 2254. 15 second or longer silences between tracks. Talk in Dutch at 2238, but no ID heard. Improving to SINPO 43333, but swallowed by QRN 2305.

Saturday 9th December

1652kHz, 2250-2310 s/off, UNID Dutch station with schlager, talk at 2250, 2304 and 2308 but too much static to copy. SINPO 34322.

All frequencies approximate...
FRG-7 with 50cm loop.

All best,

Peter

Hi Marcel, Peter and everyone,

>Then UNID from 9th December 1652 Khz at 22H50 wath "Ijsvogel" yes >s/oof 23H10 UTC.

I had a good reception of this signal, in Italy, on 1655. What I marked as UNID played mainly polka, with a dj in Dutch (but hard to get right, due to static) every 4/5 songs.

Soon after this station signed off, I heard a lower signal, on the same frequency (or, should I say, on the same surroundings) an operator IDing like "This is Radio Be???, Croazia". The statement was repeated twice. I don't know if he was calling cq, or what else (it was low), but am I the only one who heard?

Then, at 23.23 GMT, on 1653 I had a dj speaking in Dutch, mentioning "Monte Carlo" (but I think he wasn't IDing, but just mentioning), following by an instrumental track with flutes (like peruvian ones). Then, it signed off (or disappeared, anyways...). Sinpo for this one was 34434.

Marcel, if you can put a bit of order in these spare notes, you're welcome.

Ciao,
Chris
