Was just too tired to go out on a micro-DXpedition for European Pirates
Saturday night (Sunday morning). However I did hear (like others) Spaceman
and JRRI.

6304.98, R. Spaceman, 2352 Mr. Spaceman w/anmnt including ID "Spaceman
calling", into Rock song, then unrec. Pop song. Bob Dylans "Blowin in the
Wind", 0000 shouted ID over crowd noise "We are Spaceman", into Techno
Dance song. 0004 Mr. Spaceman briefly over another Dylan song. 0006
"Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" from Monty Pythons "Life of
Brian". 0011 Techno mx w/Mr. Spaceman voice-over ID, ment of England and
USA. Good at first t/in around 2345, but like JRRI, this dropped down too.
QRNed. (Oct. 23-24)

6240.16, JRRI, 2342-0018, C&W mx, M anncr but couldn't tell if it was Joe
or not. W anncr at 0003 w/ment of "free radio" and QSL card. Poss. comedy
skit dialog at 0006. Back to mx at 0009. Recognized Joes voice at 0012
w/brief song anmnts. Pretty decent at t/in, but dropped down a lot in 20
minutes. Really noisy too. (Oct. 23-24)

Found hets on 6240.13 (prob. JRRI) and 6218.96 (LHH) at 0945 when I awoke
at that time. So the window is significantly longer now. (24 Oct.)

That's all for this time. Hopefully the weather and propagation will be
favorable next weekend. Until then...
