Hi,

Crowded 48m band at daylight hours, sometimes quite difficult to find who was who, for example around 6295 on Monday. (and Albert King's "Pretty woman" by is not Roy Orbison's one). An other puzzling one: on 6295 on Sunday, ID copied as R. Mirza (?), maybe rare "Radio 0511" but how do they say that ?

>At night, France-Info relays from Rennes(711) and Lyon(603) still heard. Rennes was closed on Sat. 2nd, and Lyon went on till Sun. 3rd for a last local transmission.

>There's no ban on MW in France, just budget cuttings from Radio France. The new station Bretagne 5 on 1593 kHz goes on, also the Radio Monte-Carlo MW transmitters (located in S.E. France, at Roumoules and Col de la Madonne) while they still sell airtime.

>It's a shame to transmit for years and years at full power 24 hours a day/7 days a week, then suddenly cutting it all. (Well, I know, 3 relays were closed down a few months ago, it was just the first part of the closure).

> Would be a nice idea for local authorities around Strasbourg to fund more daytime Alsatian transmitting on MW (as without any FM channel, these programmes are losing almost all their listeners)

> Any SW pirate to relay programmes in Alsatian from the web?
