Hi to all,

When I was listening shortwave this weekend, I heard some stations playing non stop music without identification. It's not the first time.
But now, it's a new game. Some stations play non stop music during a long time, and are going to Iann's chat to see the reactions.
Sometimes, they announce their name, but only on the chat ! But don't forget that all listeners are not connected to the chat !
Are they really radio stations ? A real radio station, legal or pirate, must announce her name on the air.
If a microphone is too expensive, use jingles !

Hi Michel,

Your'e so right about this non stop stations!
Think most of them coming from the mediumwave/FM. Most pirates on FM play only music for hours and hours. That's why i never listnen to those pirates.
I talk about this with several FM pirates, but they say that the listeners want to hear music, no talk. But SW is no FM!
In my opininion, you better play your favourite cd instead listning to the radio..

Hi Albert,

I agree with you. Of course, FM listeners prefer music, but an identification from time to time is a sign of respect for the listener.
It's the same thing on AM, SW and FM.
It's always a great pleasure to listen to Radio Scotland, but I think your broadcasts are too short...
I hope to listen to Radio Scotland for a long time.
