Kristel AM 1179 is on air now for the next 6 hours on 1179 kHz or there is a net feed of the audio off air (not brilliant quality) via Shoutcast:-

Just about picking it up with the loop, here in the east midlands .
Not as strong as WNKR/ RFL were on 1476 KHz.

Seems there are a few folks listening in to this internet relay of the
Kristel AM broadcast this afternoon.
Upstream is via a domestic broadband connection with listener maximum
set to 5 so as not to overload the capacity. Stream bitrate is 24 k.
The server is full at the moment so apologies go out to anyone else
trying to get in.
If there is this kind of level of interest for future broadcasts perhaps
listeners would be happy to listen via Streamer instead as this would
allow larger numbers as required. Any thoughts?
Kristel AM is not ground-breaking radio, but obviously some folks like
it and they are a good bunch of lads keeping the MW land-based free
radio flag flying. If we are Free Radio fans then I reckon they deserve our support.
To anyone listening to the stream please make sure you give them
encouragement by giving them A QUICK PHONE CALL OR SMS TEXT MESSAGE on
the number they give out. Thanks!

Just to let everyone know, the broadcast has now finished and the stream
has been discontinued. Regards to everyone who listened in.
The next Kristel AM broadcast is scheduled for Sunday the 30th October
(last Sunday of the month) from 10am - 4pm and will be on 1188 kHz
