Hi Dave, I tried also your frequency of 5820 kHz now. Unfortunately can't get any signal there, sorry. Might be that it could be possible during earlier morning hours or later evening???

Might be only question of time and distances? So on light time longer dx is not so favourable than nearer (like you R Ramona?), where it most propably is very well audibility.

Wishing WNKR is soon possible also in here (in Space ;) ).

WNKR test on 5820

Post by Dave »

Now off air, thanks for all the reports.
I could hear it in sweden via the DX tuner at Rommelle, conditions not to good today but still worth the test.
Transmitter was a Commando and power was 25 watts.
Antenna was full size G5RV 8 metres above ground.

We are also on the air on 1476 Khz in London today.
20 watts with a Commando and antenna 30 metre high "T" .

Now back to listening.

Dave.
