What happened? This is the quietest weekend I can remember. Were conditions that poor?I don't think they were,40m and Echo Charlie 45m were open enough. So what happened to 48m? The weather was good here in The UK,which may explain the lack of UK Pirates. But I got the impression the weather was not ...

Quite poor conditions this weekend with a lot of fair to weak signals and a lot of noise and deep fading too. Too many UNID's for my liking, but it was not the station's faults,it was just hard to copy sometimes. Any claims to UNID's would be nice. Does anyone know any more about XVRB,other than what...

Poor propagation this weekend. But interesting to note that half the illegal stations I heard doing programmes(That is to say, not counting the QSO stations) were from The British Isles (UK & Ireland). It is always good to hear the regulars, but it's also pleasing to hear some of the more occasion...

Not too many logs this weekend. Conditions were fairly poor here. I was thinking back to my Pirate days and snow was great.Less chance of being raided............ But you have to be careful of water ingress.............I think water ingress was the main worry for Pirates this weekend............ Sat...

Another week when I didn't have too much time to listen. Very good signal from Orion today.Best for a long time.He was as strong here as KBC! I got a UNID on 6295 today who was even stronger than KBC!!Boomi? Merlin had a nice signal too today. Laser very strong this evening. Besides a couple of UNID...

I didn't have too much time to listen this weekend,as my logs reveal. Last week the 6.9Mhz area was very busy.I have no idea if it was busy or not this weekend as the noise at my QTH on this part of the band was terrible!I couldn't even hear LHH on 6970,let alone Irish Music Radio on 6930. I did hea...

Interesting to see how Pirates seem to be avoiding 6200 to 6290Khz.6.3,6.5 and 6.9Mhz seem more popular. Variable conditions again today, but quite a few stations heard. I wondered briefly, who the huge signal was on 6940 this morning and kicked myself when I heard the voice....... ....Boomi of course...

There were some exceptional conditions on certain bands this weekend....but unfortunately they were only there briefly on Saturday night for the "Pirate Bands". Pluto and especially Salaandse Boer seemed to be keen to talk to anyone on any frequency!Busy guys! Orion was back to his regular...

To start with, can I wish you all a Very Happy New Year! I didn't listen to that much radio this weekend and like most of you,I suspect,I got up a bit later than normal today........ Which meant I missed most of Orion Radio's programme this morning.....:-( How do you get up so early on New Year's Day...

Conditions were not that good over the Christmas Weekend with lots of rapid fading and long deep "Fade Outs". Some stations even faded in with me just as they were closing down with the earlier part of their broadcast inaudible! At least Christmas Day was the best. Plenty of stations on ov...

A great weekend for Pirate Radio! I'm guessing that the fact that next Sunday is Christmas Day was partially the cause. As it is difficult, when you have other commitments,to broadcast on Christmas Day. Slightly strange conditions though.Orion were weaker than normal on 5820 and yet I heard Orang Utan...

It normally starts to get a bit busier on the bands at this time of year as stations and operators check out the gear to make sure all is working well for the Christmas period. There were signs of that today. But I don't think it was as busy as in previous years. Laser Hot Hits moved back to 4015 fro...

Busy weekend here, not much time for radio and poor conditions too. So a small log this weekend. All the best conditions seemed to be on the HF bands. Sunday 4/12/11 6095Khz - 0950-0955 - KBC - 55544 - Cliff Richard - "Hot Shot",Heart - "Baraccuda". 6200Khz - 1130-1135 - Radio Gol...
