You're S9+20 in Glasgow, SINPO 44333. Strongest I've heard you! Noisy band and deep fading, but improving with sunrise. 0823 playing Do They Know it's Christmas and saying hello to Robin.

All best,

Peter

Sorry, posting in my sleep: I meant 1651 might have problems with French Meteo, and lots of pirates between 1630 and 1655kHz.

1251 lands you on top of the French meteo in SSB, and 1230-1255 seem to be the most frequently-occupied pirate frequencies (the ones I can hear in Scotland anyway).

Good luck,

I hope you don't mind, but I've converted Bycross's audio file to mp3 and posted it temporarily at (taken down now!) I think I've degraded it a bit in the process, but it might let Ascona hear his signal. Hope it works -- I'll take the file down when you've heard it. I only heard a carrier on 6425, ...

Hi,

I think your Rob007 is actually Boomerang on 6305: heard in Glasgow 0839 with New Order "Blue Monday" and Pet Shop Boys "It's a Sin", which matches your recording. He went into English a bit later to thank Klaus Hoerlich for a reception report.

All best,

Peter
