Weak in Glasgow, SINPO 24222, but a definite R. Universe ID in English at 2031. The transmitter cut out for a minute or so at 2032, but it's back now.

All best,

Peter

Glasgow SW log, Saturday 10th + Sunday 11th

Deep fading today, but a few stations did very well on low power. Noise levels very high around 0930, reducing a bit later. Most stations faded out by about 1045. Saturday 10th February 6290kHz, UNID (I think Flux AM) playing "All Shook Up" at 1200UTC and asking for reports at 1229. 24322....

If that's Atlantis playing Wilson Phillips' "Listen To Your Heart" at 0927, you're about 42322 in Glasgow, with bad QRM from AWR (I think it is) on 6230.

Good to hear you anyway!

Hello John,

you're 45433 in Glasgow at 0756, playing That's The Way (I Like It). The usual very sharp increase in signal at local sunrise (barely audible five minutes earlier).

Good to hear you!

You're fairly clear in Glasgow, giving an ID and saying hello to Johan in the Netherlands at 1148. SINPO around 45433, quiet band but a bit of fading.

Good luck,

Peter

UNID help

I heard a very strong Dutch station tonight on approx 1638-1640kHz, between 2022 and 2058UTC -- I recorded some audio, but can't make out the name. He mentions Zender Mario, Karl Dorman, Golfbreker and Curacao, but the bit that sounds most like an ID is at 78 seconds, which sounds to me like "R...

Glasgow SW log, Sunday 4th February

Some strong signals today, but the noise level on the band kept going up and down. Vrolijke Frans and Northpole are new to me... 5730kHz, Orion Radio, 0822 ID and report from Marco in Germany. 44333. [edit: it was 5725kHz!] 6210kHz, Cupid Radio, 0814 playing Billy Ocean and ID "You are listenin...

I heard music very faintly on 6525 at 0911UTC, but nothing since. Quite a lot of SSB activity near the frequency too.

Best of luck anyway!

West Coast was 34322 around local sunrise 0806, playing "Fanfare For the Common Man", a bit weaker now but still okay with ID at 0828.

I think I heard you briefly on 6325 around 0748 before Paardenkracht's audio came on..

Sleep well!
