Started off okay, but now appears to have all gone pear shaped.

Sorry to hear about that John ... I wondered what had gone wrong.

Good reception conditions today, so the modulator explodes. We call that "sods law" over here.

Hi Stubee, The station you are hearing is Calypso from NE Netherlands. He's been on for a while 34434 hear in the Channel Isles ... Very few ID's, but I first heard him at 07.50 this morning. Actually weaker here now at 20.15 than before, but yes, they did play OMD "Enola Gay" earlier.

I'm sure somebody will enlighten us ... :)

Anyone know who's on 6264.1 kHz at the moment - 19.30 utc. It's a bit noisy here in Guernsey, but the recorded ID sounded like "Radio Day" ??? ... Also I think the recording announced, "The Radio for (British?) "Different" People..." Playing a variety of music, dance, p...

Not a good freq here ... ?

I generally listen to KBC on 6265 kHz which uses the Lithuanian 100kW relay between 21.30 to 22.30 utc. Prior to that IRIB use the same relay from 20.30 to 21.30 utc. That coupled with Cairo on 6250 kHz regularly spashing up to and above 6265 kHz until 22.45 utc, I'm affraid you don't stand much cha...
